The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, at the weekend condemned the Federal Government for allegedly invading the countryhome of their Anambra state zonal coordinator, Godwin Okoli, on the 29th October 2021 through security agencies.
The security agencies, it claimed, have been parading Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government area, Anambra State which has led to the displacement of the entire family.
Those also affected by the displacement include his wife, Mrs Chioma Okoli, daughter, Chinwe Okoli, and son, Samuek Kenechukwu Okoli.
According to a statement signed by IPOB’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, “the second invasion of Ekwulobia is equivalent to a siege on the entire South East.
The group pointed out that they are a peaceful organisation bent on actualising Biafra sovereignty without violence.
“This is a clear confirmation that the entire east is under siege for no apparent reason other than the need for Fulani caliphate to prove their dominance over the rest of Nigeria.

“We are alerting the world that this blatant provocation is one of the many reasons we have called for a nationwide strike to protest this Arewa Islamic military occupation of Biafraland.
“Biafrans are peaceful people but this unfortunate invasion of our villages and the home of several members may result in unintended consequences,” the IPOB averred.
