Edo State Police are currently on the trail of a 24-year-old man, Irehobhude Eric from Ekpoma community in the state, and his accomplice, for alleged homosexual activities.
A state law enforcement source informed our correspondent that Eric is an unrepentant homosexual, who investigations revealed was neck-deep in practice since his high school days.
He was reportedly expelled along with his gay companion, named Lucky, from Ujeme Secondary School in 2009 and then went to learn fashion design.

The law enforcement source added that Eric then went on to practice gay sex with an accomplice called John and was caught in the act and apprehended and beaten by his angry neighbours, but walked away with injuries.
“From there he went to a private hospital for treatment, but thanks to a tip we were able to locate the hospital; but when we arrived we were told by worried nurses that he had withdrawn the drug gout dripped and escaped.
“Also, John, his new accomplice, has fled and is nowhere to be found.
“Although we understand through Eric’s neighbors that he fled to Libya, we believe he will return home frustrated and we will still have him arrested for prosecution,” the law enforcement source said, who wished to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the issue.
In Nigeria, homosexual practice is a criminal offense punishable by 14 years in prison without the possibility of a fine.
